Although they cover only around 3% of the Earth's land surface, they store more carbon than all the world's vegetation combined, making them one of nature's most powerful allies in the fight against climate change. This project aims to restore the unique Chorne Bagno peatland ecosystem in Ukraine to protect biodiversity, strengthen climate resilience, and support sustainable land management.
