Snow Leopard Conservation in Uzbekistan
The mountain landscapes of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan are a vital refuge for snow leopards and other endangered wildlife, yet growing pressures such as poaching and habitat degradation threaten their survival. This project strengthens cross-border conservation by training protected area rangers, improving wildlife monitoring and protection, and fostering lasting cooperation to safeguard one of Central Asia's most important biodiversity hotspots.
