This international project brought together conservation experts from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Armenia to protect threatened raptor species through research, conservation actions, and knowledge exchange.
This project combines hands-on conservation of the Common Ringed Plover with community engagement, policy action, and public awareness efforts to protect the Vistula River, one of Europe’s last free-flowing rivers. By safeguarding nesting sites and mobilising local stakeholders, the initiative is building long-term support for stronger river conservation.
VIVA empowers children and young people through music, creating accessible and inspiring experiences that foster confidence, creativity, and connection. Through workshops, camps, concerts, and inclusive events, VIVA has already reached over 2,000 participants across Belgium.
