About the Project

Id+Art, Habbekrats, Group Intro, and Spoor56 have joined forces to pay special attention to young people who struggle to engage in regular leisure activities and who, due to certain circumstances, find it difficult to adapt to traditional school structures.

The project focuses on making art, culture, and society more accessible, with activities specifically tailored to disadvantaged young people.

Through intensive guidance by professional artists and teachers across various disciplines, participants are encouraged to identify and develop their interests, discover their talents, and build on their strengths. Pushing their boundaries becomes a process of personal growth, helping them develop self-awareness and self-confidence, which in turn makes them more resilient in life. They are then encouraged to explore future opportunities and set goals that are within their reach. After the project concludes, participants continue to receive guidance and support from a mentor.

In short, the project’s goal is to help underprivileged children develop greater opportunities for their future.

The project ran a crowdfunding campaign between September and October 2021. The campaign was successful, raising €10,145 with the support of 79 contributors. The VGP Foundation also provided additional funding for the project.
