“Without bees, there is no pollination, no grass, no animals, no men.”
Bees play an essential role in biodiversity and human life. More than 80% of crops and plants depend on their pollination. However, around 30% of bees die each year due to various factors, including industrial agriculture, climate change, diseases, and parasites.
To help address this alarming situation, the VGP Foundation decided to collaborate with Aristeu, an initiative created with the mission of restoring organic pollination to nature and, in doing so, helping to bring back biodiversity and life. In Greek mythology, Aristeu means “protector of the bee”.
How does it work?
The VGP Foundation will install beehives in VGP Parks and create natural ecoystems with gardens to help increase bee populations and expand green areas across the locations.
The VGP Foundation will donate the honey produced to children’s charities, such as local social canteens.
What are the benefits of bee honey?
